You work with what you have! DUH! Chris had these medical bone density machines and he sold them so he and his son can get by. He also got the internship at the stock broker location and made 200 cold calls again to investors to get deals for them to convert to the company he was at at the time.

I know you can create your own leads blah blah blah and buid a business on social media and email marketing. I know ALL of that. But the fastest way to build a business is picking up a phone and calling people. Sales people in real estate and other financial companies still make calls and use appointment setters.
