So, on Thursday, July 18th 2013 I had an appointment with a Research Study, for healthy volunteers for small pox vaccine study for up to $575.

Anyway, I did my medical tests and then made $50 and my next appointment is in 2 weeks and I will at that appointment make $100. They also gave me a debit card to make my funds available and will be available in a few business days.

The tests they did so far was an ECG, blood and urine test and tons of paperwork for me to sign and questions about my health. They said for each new research study they have to do the paperwork new because of HIPAA law and peoples body tend to change in time and its for each sponsored clinical trial. 

This is not my first study, a few years back I got strep throat and my clinic invited me to participate in their study and I made $300. I have also donated plasma one time, with that I think I made $20 or $40.

I just think of it as another hustle when you want to make extra cash. I dont mind donating my body, but because of how I feel about vaccines I am a little nervous about it. Since when my mom got a flu shot she ended up in the emergency room. But at my initial appointment the trial specialists are very thorough with their questions and tests that they do.
